Withstanding Category 13 Severe Typhoon “Bebinca” – Valin’s Membrane Roof Bracket Solution Passes the Test

Typhoon “Bebinca” (Severe Typhoon Category), the 13th typhoon of this year, made landfall along the coast of Shanghai on the 16th. At the time of landfall, the maximum wind force near the center reached Category 14 (42 meters per second, Severe Typhoon Category). “Bebinca” is the strongest typhoon to land in Shanghai in 75 years. Affected by Typhoon “Bebinca”, after its passage, uprooted trees, broken signs, deflected street lamps, fallen shared bikes and other scenes were everywhere.

The 4MW distributed photovoltaic power station with membrane roof of Jahwa Shanghai Home Chemicals Co., Ltd. located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, was directly in the path of Typhoon “Bebinca” and near the center of the storm eye, with wind force reaching Category 13 during the passage.
